Apathy is one of those rappers that really did get better with age. When I first heard him on the first Jedi Mind Tricks LP (as Apathy the Alien Tongue), I really disliked him and his rap style. Now, many years later he has honed his craft and is definitely proving to be one of the better emcees in the game. Noteable appearances from Emilio Lopez (whose verses almost steal the show), and Motive.

I really like SDRE. I always thought they were one of those bands that should have been a lot bigger than they were, much like Jawbreaker. This album marks their return to recording after the bassist (I think) left the band to be in the Foo Fighters in 1995... this came out a few years later.
I don't really like this band that much, I prefer At the Drive In a whole lot more, but this album is tolerable. I guess this is like one long song, split up into different tracks. Prog-rock-metal bands weird me out.

Even though Cube ghost-wrote most of Eazy's rhymes on NWA's album, his solo effort is still a classic.

Some might call this "bad", some might say this is a lot of what influenced New York Hardcore that you hear today. I know a lot of bands that you may not hear it in, draw influence from Negative Approach - bands like Burn, Fahrenheit 451, Warzone, and others. There are like 50 tracks on this, so get the titles yourself, fucko.
Umm... yeah, I guess this is "rap". Dre produced, no-talent (debatable) all-girl rap from a weird era.
I'm sure most of you have heard, "Damn it Feels Good to be a Gangster", and I'm sure most of you like the song (probably because you saw the movie Office Space), and think it's probably some one-hit wonder... nah dude. Geto Boys are sick. Producing some of the best hip hop out of the south since... well, since ever. Slim Thug? Paul Wall who? Nah... these are the REAL Texas boys.
